WALLINGFORD, CT – Clinical Dynamics Corporation today announced that it has released a new software version for the SmartSat Pulse Oximetry Analyzer. The new software version, 3.04A, adds the following features to SmartSat:
- The ability to test Masimo pulse oximeters and probes
- The ability to test Criticare Systems' SPOT pulse oxmeters
- Programmable Autosequences for automated testing
"Our SmartSatT is the industry standard pulse oximetry analyzer and is utilized by manufacturers such as Nellcor, Datex-Ohmeda, Masimo, Criticare, Philips Medical Systems and other industry leaders" stated Joseph Rebot, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Clinical Dynamics Corporation. "With all the special projects we have done for pulse oximetry manufacturers, we had several software versions of SmartSatT. It made sense for us to combine the different software versions with our standard SmartSatT production software to add testing of Masimo and Critcare's SPOT pulse oximeters. We also added programmable autosequences for automated testing which, until today, were only available to our manufacturing customers. Quality conscious biomedical engineers in hospitals and independent service organizations will appreciate these new testing features."
Rebot stated that customers interested in upgrading their current SmartSats should have the serial number of the SmartSat(s) available and note which brands that they need to test so they can also order the corresponding Simulator and Probe Analyzer cables.
