Welch Allyn Incorporates line of AccuPulse & AccuSim Simulators with CalTables
Into Test Procedures for Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitors and Devices

CalTables provide results with unmatched simulation accuracy for testing Welch Allyn products

Wallingford, CT, May 31, 2012 - Welch Allyn, a leading global provider of frontline medical products and solutions, incorprated Clinical Dynamics’ line of AccuPulse NIBP Simulators with CalTables into their official test procedures for testing the Propaq® Series, Spot Vital Signs® 4200 Series, Spot Vital Signs® LXi 4500 Series, Vital Signs Monitors 300 Series and Connex® Vital Signs Monitors (CVSM) 6300, 6400 and 6500 Series. The CalTables created for the Welch Allyn testing simulators will work within degrees of accuracy.

The line of Clinical Dynamics products includes the following products with these new CalTables: AccuPulse NIBP Simulator (NIBP), AccuPulse Handheld NIBP Simulator, AccuPulse Handheld NIBP Simulator with Synchronized Patient Simulator and the new AccuSim Total Patient Simulator (NIBP, SpO2, 12 Lead ECG, IBP, Temp, Resp, Pacer, etc…)

Welch Allyn implements rigorous quality policies on all of its products. Data generated by the new CalTables tests in the test procedures will help improve product development, product verification and quality control of select vital signs monitors and devices. CalTables provide a way to test select products with real-life patient simulation to ensure each will perform precise measurements in clinical use. This provides a true functional accuracy test, instead of guess work results you receive with other commercially available simulators.

“Clinical Dynamics is honored to have our products incorporated into Welch Allyn's official test procedures for its entire line of patient monitoring devices,” said Joseph Rebot, president at Clinical Dynamics. “Welch Allyn customers will now have an accurate and approved way to test the true functional accuracy of their Welch Allyn patient monitors."
